Walla Walla Sweet Onion - the official Washington state vegetable?
House Bill 1964 is a concept brought forth by Kirkland Washington Junior High School students. The measure would designate the Walla Walla Sweet Onion as the official Washington state vegetable.

The sun just start coming up over the Blue Mountains as the exhaust pipe was being lifted to the roof. Once the pipe is secured in the ventilation shaft, it is time to send up the other equipment. Patrick, Kelly's oldest son was there snapping a few historic photos as well as helping out on the roof.
